Governance Overview

Governance for ICIS implementation and design is provided by the ICIS Executive Steering Committee, ICIS Clinical Advisory Committee and the Office of the Chief Medical Information Officer.

    

Committees and Task Forces

The Clinical Advisory Committee is the central coordinating committee for all clinical decision support rules implemented into ICIS. 

    

ICIS Order Sets

All order set content must be approved by the respective department chair or his/her order set representative.

    

Clinical Analytics

Clinical Analytics is an information system that provides up-to-date clinical information from ICIS in reports that drive change.

    

Clinical Decision Support

ICIS will generate alerts when you order a medication that is already in the patient's profile.

    

ICIS Downtime Policy

The ICIS Downtime Policy established a backup process in the event that the Integrated Clinical Information System (ICIS) is non-operational.
