A healthcare information management system that connects all NYU Langone caregivers involved in patient care. This tool allows clinicians to access real-time patient health records.
History of ICIS
In the 1970's leadership recognized the need to manage the increasing amount of information generated in caring for patients and was convinced that computers would assist the clinicians.
